X-MAS: A MERRY MUTANT MUSICAL! is a parody of the X-Men home for the holidays. When a mutant-hunting robot decimates the mansion on Christmas Eve, can our heroes overcome their differences to create the best X-Mas yet? Not if that grinch Magneto has anything to say about it!
All this, plus: Logan searches for the perfect present for Jean! Storm unleashes a blizzard! And Nightcrawler leads the X-Men in a very mutant nativity pageant!
It’s the very special Christmas special for mutants and humans everywhere.

SHOW HISTORY
Sarah and Christian met in the
BMI Lehman Engel Songwriting Workshop.
They bonded while sipping blue drinks and discussing all things nerdy, particularly X-things.
SARAH MUCEK (BOOK & LYRICS) is a Brooklyn-based writer-performer whose previous theatrical works include Super School! (with Daniel Abrahamson) and Z-Town: The Zombie Musical (with Meghan Rose). Her work has appeared at the New York International Fringe Festival, Prospect Theater Lab, and The Duplex. Sarah is originally from the Midwest, which gave her a very nice degree in creative writing (University of Wisconsin-Madison), a very nice certificate in improv/sketch comedy (The Second City Conservatory), and a generally nice disposition which she maintains with regular feedings.
Sarah is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
CHRISTIAN DUHAMEL (MUSIC) grew up with a pet gerbil he named Nightcrawler. On his family's long trips from Seattle to Northern Idaho, Christian sat in the back seat with his face illuminated by his Sega Game Gear and the 1994 portable gaming hit: X-MEN.
Awards/Honors: 2019 BMI Foundation Jerry Harrington Musical Theatre Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Songwriting, 2018 Kleban Award for Most Promising Librettist; Songwriting Artist in Residence at Oriental DreamWorks; Music Theatre Ventures’ Young Creators Award; Puzzle Theatre Festival Select; Something Marvelous Festival Select; B-Side Productions’ New American Musical Award Finalist; IRNE Best New Play Nominee. Other works include My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend, Worlds Apart, The Girl Who Turned Into a Feather, and The Uncivil Ones.
A native of Kellogg, Idaho, Christian grew up just south of Seattle and is an alumnus of Wright State University and DePaul University.
